CHILDREN'S BOOK
FRANCESCA FOX
My final year honours project was dedicated to writing and illustrating the children’s book, Francesca Fox. This project allowed me to explore narratives and themes, create engaging visuals and use humor to appeal to a younger audience. My children’s book conveys an educational message of overcoming social pressure and learning the importance of individuality.
The imagery is intended to appeal to youth while the commentary empowers and informs children on contemporary issues of identity and acceptance.

The Refugee Health Pack
Project
The Objective
Designed for the University of Manitoba Health Science students, this initiative campaign project was to raise money for new Canadians arriving in Winnipeg. I designed a poster, a social media account and informational handouts that was distributed throughout the university.
Timeline
3 weeks
Key Goals
-
Create an awareness campaign for the new Canadians arriving to Manitoba
-
Design a new brand identity, posters, handouts and social media account

The Outcome
The awareness campaign was successful at reaching hundreds of students through social media and from the physical handouts. The medical students were able to raise enough money to package and distribute health packages to all intended families in need - including a few extra!
